Thora Reed: Keturah and Lord Death

Thora adapted Martine Leavitt’s young adult novel Keturah and Lord Death into an illustrated e-storybook. Her process necessitated not only the reduction of the plot into a more simple series of steps, but a rethinking of the various characters, their personalities, and their motivations. The result is a lovely, and lovingly-crafted, retelling of this moving fairy tale about a girl who falls in love with Death.
