Briana Eng: Sugarshock!

In this full-length script for a TV pilot, Briana adapted Joss Whedon and Fábio Moon’s one-shot comic Sugarshock!. Her project entailed a much deeper rethinking of the characters and story than she had expected: rather than simply retelling the narrative as it appears in the comic, Briana ended up making some subtle changes of her own that would allow it to expand into a full-length series.
